Colleen started her career at PathCare on 2 June 1994, as a Laboratory Clerk. In 2003, she was
appointed as the supervisor in Specimen Reception at the Reference Laboratory. She registered
as a Supplementary Laboratory Assistant in February 2010.  During her time at Specimen Reception,
she grew from strength to strength, supervising her team with due care and excellence and ensuring
staff delivered the high standard expected at PathCare. Her leadership skills were noticed and she
was promoted to Team Leader on 1 May 2014.

As the Team Leader, she has helped develop and grow two supervisors and three departmental trainers.
She attended the Management Development training program through Stellenbosch University in 2015.
With her 25 years’ experience in PathCare, she has delivered a brilliant service and grown and developed
her staff with professionalism and true leadership. She has a passion for the work she does and her greatest
joy is watching her staff develop, learn and grow.

She certainly lives the PathCare values and expects the same of others.
