Dr Jarryd Lunn

Originally from Durban’s south coast, Jarryd moved to Cape Town in 2010 and completed his MBChB at the University of Cape Town in 2016. He also completed a concurrent B.Sc. (Med) Hons as part of UCT’s intercalated program in 2013. He completed both his internship and community service at Groote Schuur Hospital, during the latter spending a year in Chemical Pathology. Thereafter he began specializing at Groote Schuur and completed his FC Path(SA) Anat in October 2024.

Jarryd enjoys all aspects of surgical pathology, and has a keen interest in liver, gastrointestinal, endocrine and gynae pathology, uropathology, as well as molecular pathology in modern practice.
