Dr Marcel Engelbrecht joined PathCare during Sept 2021. He obtained his matric certificate at DF Malan High School in Cape Town.
His tertiary education included:
- MBChB (US) 2013
- PGD Palliative Medicine (UCT) 2015
- FC Path(SA) Haematology (WITS) 2021
He did his MMed research project on von Willebrand factor multimer analysis in HIV-positive patients on various ARV regimens.
He has excellent IT knowledge and PC skills on various IT platforms. He plays cello and has an interest in abstract art.
