Dr Rustum Solomon joined PathCare in July 2017.
After completing his residency at the University of Cape Town in 2001, Rustum joined the Department of Pathology at Red Cross Children’s Hospital, Cape Town, as a consultant pathologist. This was followed three years later, by an 18 month locum consultancy in the Republic of Ireland.
On his return to South Africa, he took up a position as a Histopathologist at PathCare laboratories in Cape Town.
Rustum’s interests include placental and paediatric pathology as well as immunohistochemistry.
He has co-authored numerous international publications.
