Dr Seipati Bulane

We are delighted to welcome Dr Seipati Bulane to the PathCare team as an Anatomical Pathologist. With extensive experience in diagnostic pathology, academic involvement, and clinical consultation at the National Health Laboratory Service (NHLS) and WITS University, Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital, she brings a wealth of expertise to our organisation.

Qualified with an MMed in Anatomical Pathology and FCPath (SA), and fully registered with the HPCSA, she supports clinical colleagues and referring doctors with precise tissue diagnostics and collaborative case discussions. Her interests include macroscopic examination and cut-up of tissue, autopsy performance, and postgraduate teaching. Dr Bulane is recognised for mentoring and training within multidisciplinary teams, fostering adaptability and efficiency in complex clinical environments.

A commitment to ethical practice, innovation, and patient-centred care defines her approach. She has contributed to academic research, including publications: “Primary squamous cell carcinoma of the kidney: a case report and review of the literature” (African Journal of Urology, 2020) and “Subtypes of endocervical cancer: A retrospective, observational study at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital” (South African Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, 31(1), e1287, 2025).
