PathCare is a partnership of pathologists in private practice across South Africa that has been assisting doctors and healthcare professionals determine and confirm diagnoses since 1923. We are registered with the HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa) and all our laboratories are SANAS accredited.

Opportunities exist for Administrators to join team in the Administration department at our Eugene Marais branch in Pretoria. We are seeking individuals who display a high level of ethics and integrity while consistently aligning with the PathCare values.

Key Competency Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Proficiency in literacy and numeracy
  • Computer literacy including basic Excel Skills
  • Relevant Call Centre and Corporate Collections experience
  • Prior experience in a Medical Collections environment advantageous
  • Prior experience in a financial environment advantageous
  • Relevant knowledge and experience of handling deceased estates
  • Client-focused with excellent attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, independently as well as in a team
  • Ability to problem-solve
  • Must be target driven
  • Ability to perform telephonic collections
  • A positive attitude & flexible work-style
  • Must be fluent in English with a good understanding of Afrikaans
  • Must have an acceptable track record/performance record with regard to the technical and behavioural competencies required to perform in this position

Key Responsibilities

  • Telephonic communication with customers (internal & external)
  • Handling and processing of correspondence (internal & external)
  • Processing of account transactions
  • Completion of daily work reports
  • Ensuring completion of 360 cycles
  • Escalating of non-conformance to next level of authority
  • Assisting with adhoc functions when required
  • Attend meetings, workshops and training as required
