Opportunities exist for Phlebotomy Technicians/Staff Nurses to join the team at our Ermelo branch in Mpumalanga. We are seeking individuals who display a proven track record of competence in Phlebotomy and who has a high level of ethics and integrity while consistently aligning with the PathCare values.
Key Competency Requirements
- Enrolled Nurse Certificate or Phlebotomy Technician qualification and registered with SANC/HPCSA
- Intermediate computer literacy with Skylims knowledge is advantageous
- A valid Code B driver’s license (manual transmission) is highly advantageous
- Phlebotomy experience is essential
- Pathology experience is highly advantageous
- Client-focused with excellent attention to detail
- Effective verbal and electronic communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and display resilience and tenacity in challenging situations.
- Innovative and result-orientated
- Compassion and empathy.
- Adaptability with the ability to co-operate within a team environment
- Must be fluent in English with an understanding of Afrikaans
- Must be available for short notice shifts
- Must be prepared to work shifts, weekends & public holidays
- Must have an acceptable track record/performance record regarding the technical and behavioural competencies required to perform in this position
