An opportunity exists for a Switchboard Operator/Receptionist to join the team at our Reference laboratory in N1 City, Cape Town. We are seeking individuals who display a high level of ethics and integrity while consistently aligning with the PathCare values.
Key Competency Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
- Proficiency in literacy, writing and numeracy in English with an understanding of Afrikaans
- Computer literate (MS Word/Excel)
- Minimum of 6 months Call Centre/Customer Service experience required OR
- Minimum of 6 months Switchboard/Reception experience required
- Medical Telephonic experience advantageous
- Client-focused with excellent attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills while demonstrating the ability to listen
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve and work unsupervised
- Innovative thinking
- Calm temperament
- A positive attitude & flexible work-style
- Must be prepared to work shifts, weekends & public holidays
- Must have an acceptable track record/performance rating with regard to the technical and behavioural competencies required to perform in this position
